"Scream for more, in a pain called lovetonight..."
When I began playing sweet pool, I knew that I would like Zenya as a character, but I had no idea just how much he would end up affecting me. Despite already having finished the sections of the game where he's relevant, I can't seem to stop thinking about him. He's a fascinating and tragic character who was really robbed of any chance at happiness. I care about him and think about him a lot.
Zenya is presented as an antagonist from the very beginning, and for good reason; but I genuinely believe that things could have turned out very differently given a few small changes in his circumstances. If he had another supportive figure in his life, or was able to forge a genuine relationship with Youji, or... well, you get the idea.
