Nonny is the founder of NVRS, an epic gaming collective with Vaun, Roman, and Sonia. All four of them are demons that need to feed on human attention to survive. Having been unable to follow in his father's footsteps as an actor or his mother's as a pop star, he decided to take the 'easy way out', by garnering a following online. They had a very rough start, but things have been turning around for them lately! But Nonny's old friend has his own hand in this business, too, and he's the one to beat. The NVRS crew will have to work hard if they want to catch up with Xander's popularity!!

Sonia is Nonny's older step-sister. Her mother married Nonny's father when they were fairly young, and they grew up together. Their relationship was tense at first, but now they're fiercely protective of each other. She was the one that supported Nonny when he had the idea to become a streamer, and she handles a lot of the team's production and planning. Sonia is more than happy to support his dreams, but she's finding it hard to figure out what her own ambition is. She has extreme stage fright, and that makes things pretty hard for her, as she's constantly drained of energy. She's working hard to figure out a path in life that will work for her, even if that means she has to leave her little brother to his own devices.

Vaun joined NVRS at the request of his close friend, Roman. While initially apathetic about the idea, he gradually warmed up to it after realizing that he enjoyed entertaining people. He cultivates a very dry persona, and usually plays up his sarcasm and attitude. Vaun has never put a lot of stake in looking for attention from others; he would prefer to have one close, meaningful relationship than search for validation from the masses. But finding the person he wants to spend his life with is a lot harder than he expected it to be.

Roman is very quiet, and has very little experience talking to or being around other people. Vaun was his only friend until very recently, and even the two of them haven't known each other for very long. He has a hard time figuring out how to react when people are nice to him. Because of this, he almost always develops a crush on new people for a few days after he meets them. Since joining NVRS, he's been learning to open up more and stand up for himself. His secret wish is to be a fashion designer, and sometimes draws out his ideas or cuts out collages from magazines. He has a small celebrity crush on Pearl, and he always buys new issues if they have an interview or photoshoot inside.

Xander and Nonny were best friends during their teen years until they had a huge falling out at a party one night. They met as kids when their fathers were working on the same movie together and were almost inseperable since. Xander had no interest in becoming an actor like his father, and suggested to Nonny that they try streaming games instead. Even after their friendship ended, Xander continued streaming without Nonny, keeping the name ONYX that they came up with. Nowadays, he's garnered a decently sized following, with plenty of dedicated fans. In addition to gaming, he likes making music as a hobby, especially electronic and chiptune songs.

Pearl is a model who has been steadily gaining attention in more mainstream publications. Starting out as a child actor with bit parts here and there, he now focuses mainly on alternative fashion photoshoots and wants to start his own clothing line eventually. Having spent their entire life as the center of attention thanks to particularly strong charms, Pearl isn't well-trained when it comes to manners or communication with people. However, his strong charisma means that nobody will tell him off even when he's rude or incorrect, which bothers him. He wants to find and settle down with somebody who can be brutally honest with him, since he frequently worries that people only like him due to the effects of his magic.

Under the stage name 'Alice,' he's recorded a number of chart-toppers and appeared in various interviews, but has never performed live. Rumors abound when it comes to who his manager might be, including those who think it might be the 90's pop star Angel, but nobody knows for sure. In fact, nobody knows anything about his private life behind closed doors. There aren't any paparazzi pictures of him, either... It doesn't matter, though, because Everybody Loves Him Anyway!

Ryder's younger brother. The two of them lived with their wealthy uncle for most of their lives after their parents died in a car accident. Having grown up with access to anything he wanted, whenever he wanted, Oliver is still a spoiled brat who prioritizes his own desires over other people's. He was mostly left to his own devices as a child and has very little emotional intelligence as a result. He's vain to a fault and puts a lot of value on his appearance, especially when it comes to his clothes; his sense of fashion is very bubbly and traditionally feminine, and he doesn't care if people are bothered by it, especially since his large following on social media gives him all the validation he needs.

Oliver's older brother. When their uncle passed, he found out that the family's riches stemmed from connections to organized crime, and he took up the responsibilites to protect the lifestyle he and Oliver had become accustomed to. He gets called upon periodically to threaten or, in some cases, 'take care of' certain people, and gets to keep the house in exchange. He adjusted to his new line of work more easily than he expected. He tires of things quickly, and there are very few things that give him pleasure or make him happy, so he doesn't put forth much effort when he isn't interested in something. He cares deeply about Oliver's well-being but gets frustrated by him very frequently.

Widdok and Theo are characters I've had for eight or so years now. They have changed a lot, but they are intrinsically tied together no matter what. Widdok is always at Theo's mercy whether he likes it or not, and often times, he doesn't. He objectifies women while simultaneously demonizing them, and has a complex regarding his masculinity and sexuality. He is hurt by others no matter what universe he's in. He cannot take responsibility for his actions and does not understand that he is not the center of the universe. Theo ruined his left eye. In most AUs he is immortal, unkillable, or otherwise immune to permanent damage, except for his eye.

Theo is filled with disdain for every person in her life, and even those who aren't a part of her life. She forces Widdok to take part in her everyday lifestyle despite finding nothing about him appealing or respectable in any way. She dislikes being around him but will not get rid of him. Theo is a cannibal in most AUs. She lives in a dirty apartment and does not take care of herself in terms of health or hygiene. She often hurts Widdok, who bounces back due to his inability to die.

Crest is somewhat of an enigma. Who is he, and what exactly does he want? Is he even completely human? It almost makes it worse if he is. He may appear at the foot of your bed one night and offer you a deal. He can grant you what you desire, perhaps, if you return the favor - you'll have to give up a tooth or two to make it happen. Don't worry, it won't be tonight. You won't know when he'll come back to collect.

Buck lives in a cabin in the woods on the outskirts of a small-ish town. He minds his own business most of the time, and is content to just do his own thing, except for when he goes 'hunting' on the weekends for a girl to take home. He's charming and knows how to appeal to people's tastes, so he very rarely leaves a bar alone. Other than that, he keeps to himself in the forest and enjoys his many hobbies. He enjoys being left alone in the quiet of nature, and hates when people intrude or try to get in touch with him if he isn't the one initiating.
