Old Layouts

Other layouts I've used over the years!

V1: 1/26/21 - 9/24/21
My very first layout. I read very early on that it was important to make sure your website is accessible on many different screen sizes, so when I first began designing my site, I made the content on every page 800 by 600 pixels. I really didn't know what sort of vibe I wanted, so for a long time I just slapped Hello Kitty everywhere. This layout was very cluttered and involved a lot of scrolling.

V2: 9/24/21 - 3/16/22
For my second layout, I went with blue so that it felt lighter and fresher. There were still a huge amount of links on the homepage, even more now that I had kept making new pages. This time it was a two-column layout with a sidebar on the left.

V3: 3/16/22 - 12/15/22
Back to pink this time! The sidebar moved to the right, but the huge lists of links remained. They had a makeshift pixel border, but I didn't know how image borders worked, so the way I coded this was like actually actrocious. The first appearance of my little dog girl sona.

V4: 12/15/22 - 8/07/23
I still quite like this one, to be honest. I got into Blue Lock and it made enough of an impact on me that I felt compelled to redo my site. I thought this one looked pretty clean all things considered, and I spent a lot of time formatting it and putting everything in its proper place. My first fully left-aligned layout.

V5: 8/07/23 - 12/31/23
At the time I liked this one a lot, but now it looks so strange to me... I themed it after the Wataru card in the header.

V6: 12/31/23 - 1/26
This layout capitalized on what I liked about V5 and made it much cleaner. Gone are the huge lists of links, hidden under tidy details tags! The header was taken from part of the Hadaka Shitsuji (18+) website. The chibis are connected to the top of the header, so that informed the color choice for the theme, which happened to be almost identical to the one right before it.
